MP Citius Prep is a high school alternative program specifically designed for athletes who want to enhance their baseball skills and increase their chances of earning a college scholarship or becoming professional players. The program was established in 2019 and has since achieved significant success.

One of the primary objectives of MP Citius Prep is to provide talented baseball players with the necessary resources to gain visibility among college recruiters and professional scouts. Through a comprehensive training program, we aim to develop players’ skills and improve their performance on the field.

Our program offers an exceptional online accredited education, which is widely accepted by schools across the country. This ensures that student-athletes receive a quality education while focusing on their baseball training. The academic curriculum is designed to meet the requirements of high schools, allowing students to seamlessly transition back to traditional schools if desired.

The training program spans nine months and covers various aspects of player development. We prioritize arm care, strength and conditioning, and other baseball-specific training techniques to maximize players’ potential. This holistic approach aims to enhance players’ physical abilities, improve their technique, and prevent injuries.

In addition to the training program, MP Citius Prep provides the opportunity to compete in a full spring season. Our team plays against some of the top high schools in the region and the country, allowing players to showcase their skills against strong competition. We also arrange games against junior college programs, providing exposure to higher levels of play.

Over the years, MP Citius Prep has successfully placed more than 25 student-athletes into colleges, giving them the opportunity to continue their education while playing baseball. Additionally, three players from our program have signed professional contracts, realizing their dreams of becoming professional baseball players.

As the program continues to grow and evolve, MP Citius Prep aims to become the premier destination for talented baseball players in the northeast region. We are committed to providing a comprehensive training program, a high-quality education, and ample opportunities for players to showcase their skills at the collegiate and professional levels.

In 2023, the MP Citius Prep team embarked on an incredible journey to elevate our skills and gain exposure at renowned baseball events. It was an exciting year filled with memorable experiences and opportunities to showcase our talents.

First, we had the privilege of traveling to the Dominican Republic for spring training. The Dominican Republic is renowned for its rich baseball culture and the development of top-tier talent. During our time there, we were able to train and play 6 games in 7 days.

Next, we made our way to Hoover, Alabama, to compete in the PG High School Showdown – Academies. This tournament, organized by Perfect Game, brought together some of the best high school baseball programs from across the nation. It was an intense and highly competitive event, providing us with the platform to showcase our abilities to college recruiters and professional scouts.

we embraced the challenge with passion and determination. It was an incredible experience, playing in such a high-stakes tournament and having the chance to prove ourselves on a national stage.
As we reflect on our remarkable year, we are grateful for the support and guidance of the MP Citius Prep program. With their unwavering dedication, they have positioned us to achieve our goals of earning college scholarships and pursuing professional baseball careers. We will carry the lessons and experiences from 2023 with us as we continue to strive for excellence in the game we love.
